Why did the first disciples say to Jesus, “Lord, teach us to pray” (Luke 11:1)? Because the Lord Jesus modelled a lifestyle of prayer to them, they saw the power in His life, and so wanted to know how to pray.

Here at Royal Oak we realise that precious little of eternal value will be accomplished without a dependence on God expressed through individual and corporate prayer. We pray: in Lifegroups, before and after Sunday morning services, in special ‘seasons’ of prayer.
